


Passion Economy (PE) merupakan sebuah gerakan yang memungkinkan individu mengubah potensi dan bakat miliknya menjadi sumber mata pencaharian. Hal ini semakin menjadi global trend saat pandemi 2020, ketika krisis global tersebut memaksa jutaan individu harus rela kehilangan mata pencaharian utamanya. Perkembangan PE tidak terlepas dari peran Instagram Business Coach (IBC) yang melakukan kampanye turn passion into income melalui pemanfaatan personal branding atas kredibilitas yang dimiliki pengguna Instagram. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara IBC sebagai penggerak PE dan maknanya dalam perspektif Islam. Meskipun banyak didapati penelitian mengenai perkembangan media sosial, terutama pada saat pandemi, namun belum banyak yang mengaitkan fenomena kesehatan dan ekonomi global ini dengan media komunikasi dalam perspektif religi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengisi celah itu, dengan menganalisis hubungan fenomena IBC sebagai kekuatan utama bagi PE dan maknanya dalam pandangan Islam. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan analisis isi, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa, proses belajar dan mengajar sebagai tahap awal membangun personal branding yang dilakukan oleh IBC dapat menjadi cara bagi seorang muslim mengaplikasikan hadis mengenai mengamalkan ilmu dan potensi, serta menjadi salah satu definisi individu sukses dan berderajat tinggi.
